STUDIES-DIG at the Reception on the Occasion of Egypt’s National Day and the Centennial Anniversary of Egyptian–Bulgarian Diplomatic Relations
In the framework of the Horizon Europe project STUDIES-DIG, representatives of the Bulgarian and Egyptian research team had the honor of attending the official diplomatic reception organized by the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Republic of Bulgaria on the occasion of Egypt’s National Day and the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Bulgaria.
The event was hosted by H.E. Mr. Nader Saad, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Bulgaria, and brought together representatives of Bulgarian state institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, academia, business leaders, and distinguished guests. The reception celebrated the enduring friendship between the two countries and highlighted a century of successful bilateral cooperation based on mutual respect, cultural exchange, and shared aspirations for innovation and sustainable development.
Participation in this prestigious diplomatic event reflects the strong international partnerships fostered through the STUDIES-DIG project and reinforces the project’s commitment to promoting collaboration among European and Mediterranean research institutions. It also provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen academic and professional networks while exchanging ideas on digital transformation, innovation, education, and international cooperation.
