In the scope of the European project Studies Dig, the Bulgarian delegation, represented by Prof. Dr. Daniela Koch-Kozhuharova, UNWE, and Assos. Prof. Dr. Tatyana Burudzhieva, Institute of Modern Politics, attended the 5th Marine and Offshore Engineering Industry Assembly
“Bridging Academia and Industry: Solving Today’s Challenges, Shaping Tomorrow’s Experts. “The international event was held on November 14th in the Ceremonial Hall of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transportation. The official languages of the presentations were both English and Arabic. Our hosts, Assos. Prof. Mahmud Beshr and Prof. Ahmed Kalifa Mehana, who were members of the official board of the event, facilitated meetings with some of the lecturers. Special interest provoked the presentations of Abdulhameed Yehia from Cairo and Prof. Amira Zaki from the AASTMT. The event was finalized with rewards and a cozy dinner, tasting traditional food.
