Within the framework of the European project STUDIES DIG, the Bulgarian delegation held a meeting with students from the Academy of Science, Technology, and Maritime Transportation, whose academic mentor, Prof. Ahmed Kalifa, provided guidance on the organizational aspects of the Welcome Party scheduled for the following day. During the visit, Prof. Koch and Prof. Burudzhieva participated in an interview conducted by the editorial team of the students’ magazine, offering insights into the objectives and anticipated outcomes of the project.
The encounter proved particularly productive, fostering meaningful intercultural exchange, including an informal dialogue on traditions in folk music and its role in strengthening cross-cultural understanding. The meeting concluded with the official presentation of certificates acknowledging the participants’ engagement in the secondment activities, thereby marking a successful and collegial phase of the project’s implementation.
