STUDIES-DIG in Lisbon: Where Innovation Meets Culture
In the scope of the European project STUDIES-DIG, the Bulgarian research team participated in the 1st International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education – Futures 25, hosted in Lisbon, Portugal. The event was co-organized by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Audax) at ISCTE-IUL and the University Extension of the University of California, Riverside (UCR).
The conference gathered experts, researchers, and innovators from across the globe to discuss the future of education in the context of artificial intelligence, digitalization, and innovative learning methodologies. Bulgarian researchers actively contributed to the sessions, presenting the progress and goals of the STUDIES-DIG project.
Alongside the academic program, the conference featured a rich cultural agenda. The organizers introduced participants to some of Lisbon’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks, providing insight into the city’s heritage and architecture. As a culmination of the social program, a formal Gala Dinner was held at the historic Casa do Alentejo, offering a memorable evening of traditional Portuguese cuisine, music, and intercultural dialogue among the participants.
This participation further strengthened the international collaboration within the STUDIES-DIG project and fostered new academic and professional partnerships aligned with the project’s objectives.
